Renard, Bronze and Morgan secure FIFPRO Women’s 11 places

Wendie Renard extended her exceptional, ever-present run in the FIFPRO Women’s World 11 to seven years as Lucy Bronze and Alex Morgan made the selection for the fifth time each.

Christiane Endler took the goalkeeper’s jersey for the third time running, while Mapi Leon, Leah Williamson, Lena Oberdorf, Alexia Putellas, Keira Walsh, Sam Kerr and Beth Mead were included for the first time.

Voting:

The FIFPRO Women’s World 11 was voted for exclusively by professional footballers from across the planet. FIFPRO and affiliated players’ unions distributed unique links that gave players from all professional football clubs access to a digital voting platform.

They picked the three players who, in their opinion, were the most outstanding from 8 August 2021 to 31 July 2022 in each of the following positions: goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and forwards.

The goalkeeper, three defenders, three midfielders and three forwards with the most votes in their position made it into the FIFPRO Women’s World 11.

The 11th spot was assigned to the outfield player with the next highest number of votes.
