The Hollywoodbets Super League returns after the international break which saw the Sasol-sponsored Banyana Banyana play two games against Senegal, winning one and drawing the other.
The bulk of the players in the squad play in the South African domestic women’s football league – only three who travelled to West Africa ply their trade abroad, Sinoxolo Cesane (Mexico), Thubelihle Shamase (Lithuania) and Linda Motlhalo (USA).

Week 15 of the Hollywoodbets Super League will see six matches played on Saturday (8 June 2024) – with three mouthwatering derbies on offer.
At the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, Copperbelt Ladies and First Touch will lock horns in the Limpopo Derby, kicking off at 15h00.

After 13 outings, both sides are separated by only a point, with First Touch 11th on the table on 13 points while Copperbelt is a spot down on 12 points.
The two teams lost their respective matches before the break.

Away in Cape Town, the University of the Western Cape (UWC) will host newcomers University of Fort Hare in the Varsity Derby. This will be the first ever meeting between the two sides.
UWC is third on the table and will look to maintain that position as they are on 26 points – five adrift of second placed University of Johannesburg, while Fort Hare is ninth on the log standings. Kickoff is at 15h00.

The Tshwane Derby will see reigning league champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies tackle neighbours TUT Matsatsantsa Ladies at the TUT Pretoria Stadium also at 15h00.
Banyana ba Style have pulled away from the chasing pack at the top and are on 34 points, three ahead of UJ Ladies, while TUT lies on the 10th position.
In their last outing before the break, Sundowns Ladies registered an emphatic 8-0 win and will be eager to continue where they left off.

In the remaining three matches on the day, Durban Ladies will welcome City Lads Ladies at the Princess Magogo Stadium in Durban and the struggling Thunderbirds Ladies will be hoping for success at home as they entertain Royal AM at the Sisa Dukashe Stadium in Bisho. Both games start at 13h00.
At 15h00, UJ Ladies will keen to stay within touching distance of the log leaders when they host second from bottom Lindelani Ladies at the UJ Soweto Stadium.

On Sunday (9 June 2024) at 13h00, JVW visit the University of Pretoria who have gone off the boil somewhat after a good start that saw them top of the table at some point, but have now fallen to the seventh spot.
In the other match, sparks are expected to fly when TS Galaxy Queens, who haven’t lost in their last five fixtures, will welcome a stubborn Richmond United at the Puma Stadium in Witbank.
Kickoff is at 15h00.
