Women’s Day action in the Hollywoodbets Super League

The 2022 Hollywoodbets Super League is back in full swing after taking a break due to the TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations that took place in Morocco from 2-23 July – and action continues on Women’s Day around the country.

After playing just one match after the WAFCON recess, defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies will be missing from the league as they will be participating in the CAF Women’s Champions League|COSAFA Zonal qualifier in Durban.

Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies

This will perhaps be an opportunity for the rest of the field to collect as many points as they can and even be at the summit of the table.

The Tshwane University of Technology has already taken advantage of the situation as they dislodged their neighbours from the top position with 31 points – just one ahead of Sundowns.

TUT will be hoping to increase the gap when they travel to the Motshioa Stadium in the North West to face Golden Ladies who have not had a very good start in the new season.
