Uganda as well as hosts Morocco are the first two teams to qualify for the event for the 2022 Africa Women Cup of Nations tournament.
For the 10 remaining nations, first legs of the third and final round of qualification have been played and after the matches a total number of 12 will be in Morocco to battle it out for the coveted title of African Women champions.
The tournament is also used as a qualifier for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup – the top four nations in Morocco will book their tickets to Australia and New Zealand for the women’s world football showpiece.
