Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies have stretched their lead at the top of the Hollywoodbets Super League standings to four points following a dominant 5-0 win over the visiting Richmond United in the capital.
A brace each from Lelona Daweti and Morifi Chuene and a goal from Boitumelo Rabale was enough to see Banyana Ba Style emerge easy victors.
The Brazilian took a comfortable 3-0 lead at the break as Daweti struck twice in a space of five minutes (10’ and 15’) before Chuene opened her account on the stroke of half time.

The home side brought fresh legs as they continued where they left off – with Miche Minnies and Lumka Qhekeke making way for Thembelihle Masibi and Lehlogonolo Mashego.
Richmond sank deeper into the quagmire when their coach was sent off for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
Then Rabale got in on the act with the fourth for Sundowns Ladies while Chuene completed the demolition job with the 5th goal 15 minutes from time.
To freshen the team a bit, Banyana ba Style coach Jerry Tshabalala introduced Oratile Mokwena, Karabo Makhurubetshi and Siphesihle Magazi in place of Daweti, Rabale and Reginal Mogolola respectively – but the scoreline remained unchanged.
After 16 games, Sundowns Ladies is now on 45 points – four ahead of JVW who are second.
Richmond United are in 9th position with 26 points.
The league will take a recess and return after the international break.
