The Hollywoodbets Super League will, for the first time, host a triple header and a double header in one weekend.
The Rugby Field next to the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane is where the football extravaganza will be taking place – with all three Limpopo teams in the elite women’s football league in action on the same day, at the same venue.

Ma-Indies Ladies vs UJ Ladies: 11h00
In the earlier kick off (11h00) Ma-Indies will be taking on a determined seventh-placed University of Johannesburg (UJ Ladies).
There will be two different battles on the go here – Ma-Indies trying to save their season while UJ is on a mission to maintain their top eight status or even finish higher – last season the latter ended on position five.
The bottom-of-the-table hosts are left with nine matches to change their destination – but they have a mountain to climb, with only six points on the board after two wins and 19 losses.
In the first round, the students won 5-1.

First Touch v UWC: 13h00
In the second fixture of the day (13h00), table-topping University of the Western Cape (UWC) will be eager to open a wider gap after earning free three points midweek due to the non-arrival of Eastern Cape’s Thunderbirds Ladies. The Capetonians are on 54 points – three more than the defending champions, Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies, who are on regional competition duties in Durban.
Victory this weekend for the Blues will see them seven points clear at the top but with two games ahead of the Brazilians who return to Hollywoodbets Super League action next weekend.
UWC won the corresponding fixture against First Touch 3-1 earlier in the season.

Copperbelt Ladies v Coal City Wizards: 15h00
Copperbelt Ladies and Coal City Wizards are in trouble as they are hovering around the relegation zone on positions 13 and 14 respectively.
The two meet in the final match of the football festival in Polokwane at 15h00 with the hope of getting positive results and improving their log standings.
Newcomers Copperbelt have lost all their last seven fixtures, but have 16 points – three ahead of Coal City, but one behind 12th placed City Lads Ladies (who are only in action on Sunday)
The Limpopo side will be high on confidence following their 2-0 win in the first round.

Richmond United vs Thunderbirds Ladies: 15h00
Thunderbirds Ladies are expected to have funds to travel to Richmond United in De Aar, Northern Cape. News reaching CentreCircle.online is that the Eastern Cape side failed to honour their match against UWC on Wednesday in Cape Town due to financial constraints, and therefore forfeited the match and handed the home side two goals as per the rules of the competition, with the league awarding the three points to UWC.

Second-from-bottom Thunderbirds have a tough assignment against Richmond that wants a top eight finish, a position they occupy currently and will do anything to try and protect – especially after their disappointing 3-1 loss to UJ this past weekend.
The Eastern Cape side has played 20 games, collecting nine points.

JVW vs University of Pretoria: 15h00
Fireworks are expected at the UJ Soccer Stadium in Soweto when two on-form teams collide.
Fifth-placed JVW will host the University of Pretoria (Tuks Ladies), who are one spot behind. Both sides have played 20 matches each and are separated by just three points – JVW on 41 and Tuks Ladies on 38.
The reverse fixture ended with a narrow 1-0 victory for the Blue Diamonds, but the students have proved to be a tough nut to crack in recent times – winning eight in a row being brought down to earth by Royal AM last week.
Sunday, 10 September 2023
The King Zwelithini Stadium in Durban will be the venue for the double header on Sunday, 10 September 2023, which will also see two KwaZulu Natal outfits welcoming guests.

Royal AM v City Lads Ladies: 11h30
First up at 11h30 Royal AM will entertain City Lads Ladies from the Eastern Cape.
Both need maximum points for different reasons.
Royal AM is third on the table with 43 points – currently 11 behind the log leaders – but still has ambitions of winning the league title, while City Lads are 12th with 17 points, and not entirely safe from relegation, especially with nine rounds of fixtures still left. The last meeting ended in a 2-0 win for Royal AM.

Durban Ladies vs TS Galaxy Queens: 15h00
Newcomers TS Galaxy Queens travel to KZN and round off the Hollywoodbets Super League weekend action against Durban Ladies – a team they defeated 1-0 in the first round.
With two games in hand, the ambitious visitors are still very much in contention for the elusive elite women’s football league title.
The Mpumalanga side is fourth on the log standings, two points behind Royal AM.
