Newly-promoted City Lads Ladies have finally cracked their first ever point in the Hollywoodbets Super League at the sixth time of asking.
The Eastern Cape side played to a one-all draw against First Touch FC in Giyani.
The match took place on Saturday, 21 May 2022.
But the struggle continues for the Tsunami Queens and Golden Ladies.
The Queens suffered their fifth loss of the season after a 5-1 drubbing at the hands of Richmond United at Merino Park in De Aar, Northern Cape.
Tsunami has only collected just one point in six matches.
Despite playing at home, Golden Ladies continued to fail to shine after going down 2-1 to newcomers Vasco da Gama at the North West University.
Golden Ladies remain on one point and are yet to taste victory along with City Lads Ladies and Tsunami Queens – and the three lead the log from the bottom.
Third-placed Thunderbirds Ladies were brought down to earth with a 5-2 thumping by Bloemfontein Celtic at the Sisa Dukashe Stadium in East London.
This was Thunderbirds’ second loss in 2022, with three wins to their name. The victory sees Siwelele move up to third place on the league table, while Thunderbirds drop three spots to sixth position.
After a poor start to the season, Ma-Indies Ladies seem to be back in the winners’ circle after they registered their third win in six games.
The Limpopo side brushed aside UJ Ladies 3-1 in Giyani – this was the visitors second defeat.
Ma-Indies move up two spots to ninth on the table, while UJ lose their fifth place and move down to seventh.
Durban Ladies welcomed Coal City Wizards at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi, with the hosts walking with three points following a 1-0 victory.
Two more matches will be played on Sunday, 22 May with reigning champions Mamelodi Sundowns entertaining neighbours TUT in the Tshwane derby, while log leaders JVW FC will lock horns with the University of Western Cape in a double header at the Wits Stadium in Johannesburg.
Kick off for both matches will be 11h30 and 15h00 respectively.
