Six nations, including hosts India, have already qualified for the 2022 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, which will run from 11 -30 October.
The latest to book their spots are South Americans, Brazil and Colombia – with one between Paraguay or Chile waiting to take the final spot in the region.
The two qualifiers join the People’s Republic of China, Japan and New Zealand.
Ten more teams are still battling it out to book their places for the India women’s football showpiece to complete the allocated number of 16 nations.
