There will be a lot to play for when the curtain comes down on the 2022 Hollywoodbets Super League season – and all 16 teams will be action on Super Saturday (26 November 2022).
The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) will kickstart the proceedings when they face the relegated Golden Ladies at 11h30 at the Lucas Moripe Stadium at Atteridgeville.

Third-placed TUT needs victory if they are to overtake the University of the Western Cape (UWC) into second position – but the Tshwane side will have to wait for the results of the clash between the Capetonians (UWC) and Durban Ladies which starts at 15h00 at the UWC Stadium.
UWC is on 65 points while TUT is three behind – with a goal difference of 40 and 38 respectively.

Bloemfontein Celtic Ladies will be out to get victory to ensure they stay in position five when they lock horns with City Lads Ladies, who managed to secure their status in their debut season. The clash takes place at the Isaac Wolfson Stadium in Gqeberha.

Another newcomer Vasco da Gama, who also escaped the axe, will welcome Coal City Wizards at Parow Park Stadium in Cape Town – both sides have nothing to play for as the outcome of the match will not change their positions.

In Soweto, UJ Ladies will be eager to collect maximum points in order to keep alive their chances of a fifth place finish, but will also be eyeing results from the Celtic vs City Lads clash with keen interest
Thunderbirds Ladies welcomes Ma-Indies at the Sisa Dukashe Stadium in East London.
The relegated Tsunami Queens will be looking to bow out in style when they host JVW in Harrismith.

Champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies, who have already passed their highest points tally in the league, will be the last team in action when they welcome Richmond United in Atteridgeville.
The Brazilians are currently on 79 points after finishing with 64 and 73 the past two seasons respectively.
The Champions will be handed their winners’ trophy and gold medals after the match.

Final day Scenarios – as it stands:
- Sundowns Ladies – Champions (1st in 2021)
- UWC – needs a draw to finish second (3rd in 2021)
- TUT – to finish second, needs an outright win + UWC loses (2nd in 2021)
- JVW – will finish 4th regardless of their results (4th in 2021)
- Celtic Ladies – must match UJ’s result to maintain 5th spot. Celtic draw and UJ win, positions will be decided on Goal Difference (6th 2021)
- UJ – needs a win and hope Celtic loses to move to 5th (9th in 2021)
- Richmond – could finish 5th if Celtic and UJ lose (11th in 2021)
- Ma-Indies – will finish 8th regardless of results (8th in 2021)
- First Touch FC – needs to match results of Durban Ladies and Thunderbirds to maintain 9th position (5th in 2021)
- Durban Ladies – needs a win to overtake First Touch, provided the latter draws or loses (10th in 2021)
- Thunderbirds Ladies – outside chance to finish 9th, must hope for favourable results from other teams, could get to 10th if they win and Durban Ladies lose (7th in 2021)
- City Lads Ladies – will finish 12th regardless of results (Sasol League in 2021)
- Coal City Wizards – will finish 13th regardless of results (12th in 2021)
- Vasco da Gama – will finish 14th regardless of results (Sasol League in 2021)
- Golden Ladies – will finish 15th regardless of results – (13th in 2021) – RELEGATED IN 2022
- Tsunami Queens – will finish 16th regardless of results – (14th in 2021) – RELEGATED IN 2022

There is also the small matter of the prizemoney.
The Champions will pocket two-million rand, with the runners up banking half of that. The third-place finisher will get half a million rand, with the side taking the fourth spot walking away with R400K, while the team in fifth spot will be smiling all the way to the bank with three-hundred thousand rand.

Positions six to 14 will be handed one-hundred thousand rand each, while the relegated Golden Ladies and Tsunami Queens will bid farewell to the elite women’s league with fifty-thousand rand each.
