Eleven games, 10 wins, one draw, 34 goals scored, zero conceded – that’s the story of reigning Hollywoodbets Super League champions, Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies as they continue their dominance on the current season.
Banyana ba Style have not conceded in the last 21 games – the last players to score against the Brazilians was Tshibogo Madihlaba of Copperbelt Ladies. This was in a five-goal thriller won 3-2 by the league champions at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday, 3 August.

To add to their success, the Tshwane outfit last lost a match over a year ago – 21 March 2024, when they went down 1-0 to the University of the Western Cape (UWC) from a Ronnel Donnely goal in the 80th minute. Since then, they have won 34 matches and played three draws (JVW 1-1; TUT Matsatsantsa Ladies 1-1 in 2024, and more recently 0-0 vs Copperbelt Ladies).
The five-time league winners continued their fine run on Sunday, 25 May when they won the Tshwane Derby 4-0 against neighbours TUT Matsatsantsa Ladies at the TUT Main Stadium.

Lesotho international Boitumelo Rabale grabbed a brace to shoot to the top of the scorers’ charts on nine goals. Second half substitutes, Nonhlanhla Mthandi and Nthabiseng Majiya added two more to make it 4-0.
The Brazilians head into the international break with an eight point lead.
After 11 games, they are on 31 points followed by TS Galaxy Queens on 23.
TUT Matsatsantsa fell three places from second to fourth following their defeat to Sundowns Ladies, and find themselves on 21 points, level with JVW who are third.

In other matches, the Blue Diamonds (JVW) brushed aside the struggling Durban Ladies 4-1, leaving the winness KwaZulu Natal outfit rooted at the basement of the table on three points from eight games. Durban Ladies are the only unbeaten side in the league.
JVW captain Robyn Moodaly scored two goals while Bonolo Mokoma and Gabriela Salgado celebrated their Banyana Banyana call-up with a goal each.

TS Galaxy Queens moved up from third place to second spot on the table after defeating Ezemvelo Ladies 3-1 at the Kanyamazane Stadium.
The University of Johannesburg claimed bragging rights in the Varsity Derby as they defeated the University of Pretoria (Tuks) 2-0 with goals from Ayesha Moosa in the first half and Portia Masilela on the other side of the break. Copperbelt Ladies stunned UWC 1-0.

Three other matches were drawn – Royal AM shared the spoils with the University of Cape Town (UCT) in a goalless draw; First Touch and the University of Fort Hare cancelled each other out with a 1-1 stalemate while there was no winner between Richmond United and City Ladies after their 2-all result.
