Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies have confirmed the signing of Banyana Banyana international, Noxolo Cesane after she parted ways with Saudi Arabia outfit, Eastern Flames last month.
As previously reported by CentreCircle.online, the former University of the Western Cape (UWC) player has been training with the Brazilians after the end of the international break where Banyana Banyana played two international friendlies against Malawi.
Cesane becomes the second recruit for interim head coach Godfrey Sapula, after the acquisition of former JVW and University of Pretoria midfielder, Isabella Ludwig.
She is expected to make her debut on Sunday (4 May 2025) when the reigning champions take on a tricky University of Fort Hare (UFH) at the TUT Main Stadium in Tshwane.
At Sundowns Ladies Cesane joins other South African internationals from the Sasol-sponsored Banyana Banyana squad – the likes of Kholosa Biyana, Nonhlanhla Mthandi, Nthabiseng Majiya, Lebohang Ramalepe, Andile Dlamini, Bambanani Mbane, Karabo Dhlamini, Melinda Kgadiete and Tiisetso Makhubela, among others.

Cesane is expected to add to the Brazilians’ firepower as they sit top of the table on 19 points – six ahead of the University of Johannesburg (UJ Ladies) and JVW who are tied on 13 points each.
Banyana ba Style are yet to lose a match with only one draw.
The 24-year-old Cesane has also played abroad with stints at Stade Reims in France as well as for UANL Tigres in the Liga MX Femenil in Mexico.
