SAFA administrator Potso Mohami, has bagged yet another gig in the Confederation of African Football. Mohami has been appointed as a General Co-ordinator (GC) for the upcoming 2022 TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations scheduled for Morocco from 2-23 July.
The up-and-coming Mohami will be based jn Rabat where she will oversee Group C matches which involve South Africa, Nigeria, Burundi and Botswana.

Mohami joined the FA over a decade ago and is making great strides in continental football – in recent times she has been a General Co-ordinator for COSAFA and CAF tournaments.
Mohami was also part of the CAF delegation when Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies lifted the inaugural CAF Women’s Champions League trophy last year November in Egypt.
Her compatriots Banyana Banyana will be looking to make history in their quest to win their first ever WAFCON gold medal.
She becomes the second SAFA Administrator to be selected for CAF duties following the appointment of Amanda Dlamini to be part of a stellar cast of some of Africa’s most celebrated ex-footballers who will be commentators and analysts at the tournament.

Dlamini, a former Banyana Banyana captain, is currently the Senior Manager for Commercial and Marketing at the South African FA.
Former Banyana Banyana captain and midfielder, Amanda Dlamini, will be travelling to Morocco to be part of a stellar cast of some of Africa’s most celebrated former football stars who will be working as commentators and analysts for the upcoming TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
