Hollywoodbets Super League returns after international recess

After a two week break due to the Hollywoodbets COSAFA Women’s Championship that took place in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape, the Hollywoodbets Super League returns this coming weekend.

Action kicks off on Saturday, 17 September 2022 with six matches scheduled across the country, all with a 15h00 start.

Tsunami Queens

At the Bohlokong Stadium in Bethlehem, Tsunami Queens welcome Durban-based Bloemfontein Celtic Ladies.

Title-chasing Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) travel to East London for a date with Thunderbirds Ladies at the Sisa Dukashe Stadium.

Also on the road, University of Johannesburg (UJ) will make the long trek to Merino Park Stadium in De Aar in the Northern Cape to face hosts Richmond United.

Ma-Indies Ladies

Limpopo’s Ma-Indies will entertain newcomers Vasco da Gama at the Giyani Stadium, while the struggling Golden Ladies will be visited by Mpumalanga’s Coal City Wizards at the Montshioa Stadium in the North West Province.

The final match of the day will see First Touch FC go toe to toe with Durban Ladies at the Noordelikes Sports Fields in Polokwane.

Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies

Sunday is a block-buster with three of the top 4 teams in action.

In a much-anticipated clash, log leaders and defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies will face the University of the Western Cape (UWC) – the same side that beat them in the first round of the league campaign.

UWC is the only team that walked away with maximum against the Brazilians this season. The clash takes place at the Tuks Stadium in Pretoria.

JVW FC

In the second match at the same venue, JVW will be looking for all three points when they face the travelling City Lads Ladies from the Eastern Cape.

Both fixtures kick off at 11h30 and 15h00 respectively.
