Hollywoodbets Super League defending champions, Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies sent a strong warning to the other teams about their intentions of fighting for their title.
The Brazilians were in a mean mood as they shot 11 goals past a hapless Golden Ladies from North West without reply at the TUT stadium.
They are now the second highest goal scorers this season, following in the footsteps of JVW who scored just one less in their 10-2 beating of Richmond Ladies in the opening week of the campaign.
This was Sundowns Ladies’ second win on the trot and the goals contributed immensely to the massive 39 strikes scored in all eight fixtures of the weekend.
Striker Andisiwe Mgcoyi led Masandawana’s charge as she turned on the magic with a double brace – reminding all that she is the joint Hollywoodbets Super League Top goal scorer with JVW’s Nompumelelo Nyandeni on 27 goals.
This was after Chuene Morifi had given the Sundowns the lead just two minutes into the contest.
Rhoda Mulaudzi and Thalea Smidt added to the scoreboard and increased the score line to 6-0 at interval.
The dominance continued in the second half as Chantelle Esau also got in on the act for the seventh goal – she was then pulled off and her replacement Miche Minnies kept the goals coming when she hit two past the goalkeeper. Not to be outdone, Boitumelo Rabale and second half substitute Melinda Kgadiete also hit the back of the net for a convincing 11-0 win.
The Sundowns vs Golden Ladies match was part of a triple header.
In an earlier fixture, UJ Ladies were good enough to slam three past Vasco da Gama, who responded with one just one goal to go down 3-1.

TUT faced City Lads Ladies in the last match of the day, winning 7-3.
Newcomers Vasco da Gama and City Lads have now suffered two losses in a row as they try to adjust to new life in top flight football.
It was raining goals at the TUT Stadium – a total of 25 goals were scored in three matches alone.
On Saturday, Thunderbirds registered their second win of the season when they defeated Durban Ladies 1-0 with JVW running out 2 – 0 winners over Ma-Indies.
Richmond United lost their opening match of the season but bounced back in style as they disposed of First Touch FC 7-0, while Tsunami Queens were defeated 3-1 by Coal City Wizards.
The clash between the University of the Western Cape (UWC) and Bloemfontein Celtic ended in a goalless draw.
