Only five matches will be played this weekend before the international break which has already ensured that some teams are not in action as they have players in the Sasol-sponsored Banyana Banyana squad that started camp on Friday (10 June 2022).
The South African Senior Women’s National Team will be travelling to the 2022 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations in Morocco which takes place from 2-23 July.

Defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies, second placed University of the Western Cape (UWC), JVW FC, Tsunami Queens, Coal City Wizards and First Touch FC will not run out this weekend.
But there is plenty of fireworks expected in Week 11 with three matches scheduled for Saturday, 11 June and a further two more on Sunday, 12 June.
Durban Ladies will take the long trip to the Giyani Stadium to face Ma-Indies.
With the other not playing, this could be a good time for these two sides to make a quick climb up the log standings.

Currently in position nine with 15 points, victory for the visitors will see them jump four places to fifth where they will unseat Ma-Indies.
A win will take the hosts to fourth, level with third-placed JVW on 20 points.
At the Sisa Dukashe Stadium in East London, Thunderbirds Ladies FC welcome Vasco da Gama.
With a game in hand, Vasco has won only two matches and will be hoping for positive results but could find the going tough against a team that is currently among the top eight – the Capetonians are 13th place with just six points, while Thunderbirds are in eighth position with five victories in their name.

TUT Stadium in Pretoria will host another Varsity battle when TUT lock horns with UJ FC.
The two sides are separated by just one point – with UJ sixth and TUT seventh.
Action on Sunday is a double header coming from the De Beers Stadium in Kimberly.
In the first match at 11h30, Bloemfontein Celtic Ladies are up against Golden Ladies.
The Free State side is currently fourth on 19 points and victory will take them to third, unseating JVW who have 20 points.

On the other hand, bottom-of-the-table Golden Ladies are eyeing their first win in the league and will be looking to cause an upset. Should they pull it off, they will move from the basement of the table – but they will have to work hard against a resurgent Siwelele Sa Masele that has lost only once in 10 matches – going down to the reigning champions Sundowns Ladies.
The last match of the weekend and of this first phase of the league will see Richmond United go toe to toe with City Lads Ladies, who are looking for back to back wins after earning their first three points in the Hollywoodbets Super League – they defeated Tsunami Queens 1-0.
But in Richmond United, they are facing a wounded tiger after they lost to Durban Ladies in their previous fixture.
