Hollywoodbets Super League defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies continued their undefeated streak whey they registered their fourth win in as many matches after beat newcomers Ezemvelo Women’s FC 2-0 at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday, 19 April 2025.
First half goals from Nonhlanhla Mthandi (14’) and defender Thato Letsoso (28’) saw the Brazilians over the line against the stubborn KwaZulu Natal side.

Banyana ba Style’s victory comes at the back of wins against JVW (2-0), UWC (1-0) and UCT (2-0) and they are yet to concede.
Sundowns Ladies are top of the table on 12 points, two ahead of second placed University of Johannesburg (UJ Ladies) who played to a goalless draw against TUT Matsatsantsa Ladies in a Varsity Derby.
At the Davidson Stadium in Alice the University of Fort Hare also shared the spoils against the visiting Durban Ladies in a goalless stalemate.

Limpopo’s Copperbelt Ladies visited the Harry Gwala Stadium in KwaZulu Natal and returned home with all three points after defeating Royal AM 2-1. Hlulani Manganyi and Tshepi Makole found the back of the net for the travellers, while Nomvuyo Bengu responded for the home side.

Ember Edwards was the toast of the town in the Mother City after her brace saw the University of the Western Cape (UWC) halt a two game-losing streak. The students brushed aside Richmond United Ladies in a 2-0 win – the Northern Cape outfit was playing their first match of the 2025 campaign.
The star-studded TS Galaxy Queens suffered their first defeat as they fell 2-0 to JVW at the UJ Stadium in Soweto. Two first half goals by Gabriela Salgado (5’) and Robyn Moodaly 38’) did all the damage, with the Blue Diamonds registering their second win of the season in five outings.
First Touch Ladies and the University of Pretoria (Tuks) cancelled each other out in a 1-1 draw at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
