Date for Sasol League National Play-Offs set

King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi, south west of Durban in the KwaZulu Natal Province, will host the 2021 edition of the Sasol League National Championships from 7-13 February 2022.

This annual competition was postponed in December last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic – and in line with safety protocols, no fans will be allowed at the stadium.

Nine provincial Sasol League winners will battle it out for the top honours of being crowned national champions.

The finalists will be promoted to the Hollywoodbets Super League for the 2022 season.

The winners will walk away with two-hundred-thousand-rand (R200.000.00), while the runners up are in line for half of that amount – one-hundred-thousand rand (R100.000.00).

Ixias FC from the Free State Province and Limpopo’s Copperbelt Ladies meet in the first match of the competition on Tuesday, 8 February 2022.

Kickoff is at 09h30.
