Mexico seems to be the happy hunting ground for Jermaine Seoposenwe, forward of the Sasol-sponsored Banyana Banyana.
For the second match in a row, her name was on the scoresheet as her side FC Monterrey defeated Necaxa Femenil 7-0 on Match Day 3 of the Clausura 2024 tournament in the Liga MX BBVA on Friday morning (19 January 2024) in Mexico.

The Capetonian had two assists in the game and scored the fourth goal in the 42nd minute – giving the Rayadas a 4-0 lead at the break.
Earlier, Fatima Servin, Myra Delgadillo and Nicole Perez had done the damage, with Yamile Franco, Valeria Valdez and Rebeca Bernal completing the rout the other side of the recess.
Seoposenwe’s goal showed calmness and composure in front of goal – this after a well-placed header from Delgadillo found the on-running South African with only the goalkeeper to beat, and she did not disappoint.
This was her second strike in as many matches – she opened her season’s account in the 2-all draw against Pachuca Femenil on Sunday (14 January), when she scored late in the second half to secure a point.
Monterrey are now second on the table with seven points from two wins and one draw.
They will take a very short breather before returning to action on Sunday, 21 January when they visit Queretaro on Match Day 4.
