Reigning Hollywoodbets Super League champions, Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies continued their dominance over the University of Johannesburg (UJ Ladies) as they defeated them 2-1 in Soweto.

University of Johannesburg 1 – 2 Sundowns Ladies
This was the seventh meeting between the two sides and the Brazilians have won them all – but in the latest clash they were made to sweat by the stubborn and youthful UJ.
Banyana ba Style shocked the hosts early in the third minute through a Lelona Daweti goal and increased their advantage on the stroke of halftime, thanks to a great header by Melinda Kgadiete: 2-0 at recess.
But three minutes from time they were stunned by a cracker of a strike from Gabonese international Victoire Biatholi Maimouna – giving Botswana’s Sedilame Boseja no chance in the Sundowns Ladies goal.
But it was too little too late for the students – as they fell to their second defeat in a row after two draws and two defeats, meaning they haven’t won a match in six outings.
After 14 rounds of matches, Banyana Ba Style are on 37 points, one ahead of UWC, while UJ is ninth.

University of Pretoria 7 – 0 Ma-Indies:
A hattrick by striker Wendy Shongwe (14′, 26′, 70′) and a brace by Khutso Pila (50′, 60′) helped newcomers University of Pretoria to the title of the biggest winners on Week 14 after beating Ma-Indies in Soweto. Thembelihle Masibi (30′) and Nombulelo Khumalo (48′) chipped in with a goal each to make it 7-0 – their highest goal tally in one match this season. The defeat is the fourth in a row for the Limpopo outfit, who are bottom of the table.
They have conceded 11 goals in two matches following a 4-0 drubbing at the hands of TS Galaxy last weekend.
In five matches, Tuks Ladies lost one, drew one and won three in a row – they are seventh.

Copperbelt Ladies 2 – 2 City Lads Ladies:
At the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, nothing could separate new kids on the block Copperbelt Ladies and the visiting City Lads Ladies who finished in a 2-all draw.
Fiona Namanyana had put the hosts in the lead in the eighth minute before a Sikelelwa Mhlanga brace within two minutes (30’ and 32’) cancelled the advantage, handing it to the Eastern Cape side to make it 2-1 at the break.
But the never-say-die attitude of Copperbelt saw Rethabile Ndlovu level matters in the 56th minute.
The Limpopo side is 10th and City Lads 13th.

TS Galaxy Queens 0 – 0 First Touch:
TS Galaxy Queens dropped points for the first time since the arrival of new coach Sizwe Sibiya eight matches ago.
They were held to a goalless draw by First Touch at the Solomon Mahlangu Stadium in KwaMhlanga. It is also the first time TS Galaxy Queens have failed to score since losing 1-0 to City Lads in the opening match of the season on February 4.
The Mpumalanga outfit remains third on the table on 31 points – six behind the log leaders and five adrift of UWC. First Touch is 12th.
UWC 2 – 0 JVW:
Second-placed University of the Western Cape (UWC) won the Battle of the Blues as they returned to winning ways with a 2-0 win over a spirited JVW at the UWC Stadium in Cape Town.
The coastal side redeemed themselves following a 3-0 loss to league champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies last weekend, while the Blue Diamonds’ three match winning streak came to an abrupt halt.
Fikile Magama and Khanya Xesi’s found the back of the net to continue the dominance of the Capetonians over the visitors.
This was their fifth meeting, with the Blues grabbing a three wins, with two other matches drawn. JVW lies on the fifth spot.

Coal City Wizards 2 – 4 Durban Ladies:
Mpumalanga’s Coal City Wizards suffered their fourth consecutive defeat – 11th of the season – in a six goal thriller when they went down 2-4 to Durban Ladies in Witbank.
The loss hasn’t helped the hosts’ cause as they are trying to move from the second-from-bottom position which has almost become synonymous with them.
At half time it was even stevens at 2-2 with goals from Khwezi Dlamini (4’) and Slindile Ngubane (35’) for the visitors, as well as Bongiwe Dlamini (33’) and Yonela Keto (43’) for the hosts.
But Zamandosi Nene (83’) and Qiniso Shabangu (87’) broke the hearts of Coal City with late goals to take all three points back home with their second win in a row. The Durbanites are in eighth position.
TUT 2 – 0 Richmond United:
The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) seem to have turned the corner after registering their second consecutive victory as they beat Richmond United 2-0 in Pretoria.
Captain Tshegofatso Motlogelwa led from the front with two goals (3’, 55’) either side of the half to help her side to a comfortable victory – handing the Northern Cape side their third loss in a row, the first time they have gone through such.
Last weekend TUT managed their first maximum points in eight outings (beating Thunderbirds 1-0). The students have four wins in 14 outings, with seven losses and three draws and lie in 11th position while Richmond is sixth.

Thunderbirds Ladies 0 – 3 Royal AM:
Hosts Thunderbirds Ladies lost their fourth match in a row after they were given a 3-0 hiding by Royal AM at the Bunkers Hill Grounds in East London.
The visitors have now scored eight goals in two matches (they beat UJ Ladies 5-0 last weekend).
The KwaZulu Natal outfit is fourth on the table, with Thunderbirds Ladies flying low on the 14th spot.
