Date set for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup Play-off Tournament

The draw for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup Play-off tournament is scheduled to take place on Friday, 14 October 2022.

Ten teams will complete for the remaining three slots for next year’s women’s football showpiece.

The play-offs will be played in Aotearoa in New Zealand from 17-23 February 2023.

The ten teams will come from:

  • Africa (Cameroon and Senegal)
  • Asia (Chinese Taipei and Thailand)
  • North and Central America and the Caribbean (Haiti and Panama)
  • South America (Chile and Paraguay)
  • Oceania (Papua New Guinea) and
  • Europe (Portugal)
