There is no shortage of action when it comes to the 2022 season of Hollywoodbets Super League.
Western Cape’s Vasco da Gama grabbed their first league points at the third time of asking.
The newly promoted side came from behind to defeat Tsunami Queens 2-1 on Sunday with goals from Karen Jansen and captain Jamie-Lee Witbooi, who was also named Player of the Match.
Nontsikelelo Zweni had put the visitors ahead with her 50th minute strike at the University of the Western Cape Stadium.

Still in the Cape, visiting TUT won the battle of the universities when they brushed aside hosts UWC 3-1, also coming from behind.
Busisiwe Ndimeni scooped the Player of the Match – her second in a row – after scoring a brace.
On Saturday, First Touch FC emerged victorious 2-1 against arch rival Ma-Indies Ladies in the Limpopo derby held in Polokwane with the latter suffering their third successive loss.
In the Eastern Cape derby, Thunderbirds Ladies flew over their neighbours and newcomers City Lads Ladies, winning 2-0 in Gqeberha. City Lads are yet to collect points in the league.
Thunderbirds is one of only three teams that have won all their three matches in the league thus far.

The other high-riding side is the reigning champions Mamelodi Sundowns who were too strong for Durban Ladies, as they defeated them 5-0 in Durban to cement their top spot on the table.
Bedfordview-based outfit, JVW also hasn’t suffered defeat.
The Blue Diamonds travelled to Mafikeng and returned with all three points after beating Golden Ladies 3-0 to occupy second place on the log.
Captain Nompumelelo Nyandeni grabbed a brace while the third was an own goal.
There were also wins for Coal City Wizards and Bloemfontein Celtic Ladies.
Wizards had the better of Richmond United, Siwelele continued their fine form with a 3-0 victory over UJ Ladies.
