Reigning Hollywoodbets Super League champions, Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies are hoping to return to winning ways after they were held to a 1-all draw last weekend.
The Brazilians, record five-time winners of the league since inception, were on a three-match winning streak when they were derailed by a determined TUT Matsatsantsa Ladies in the Tshwane Derby.

Banyana ba Style face Durban Ladies at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in Durban on Saturday (15 June 2024) at 13h00 in one of five matches on the day.
Sundowns Ladies are currently top the standings on 35 points, one ahead of second-placed University of Johannesburg who will be in a tough battle against TS Galaxy Queens.

Sparks are expected to fly when the two sides meet at the UJ Soccer Stadium in Soweto at 3pm. In their last two games, the Mpumalanga outfit edged out the students, winning 2-1 and 2-0.
TS Galaxy is fourth on the table on 26 points.
Another exciting clash to look out for is the encounter between the University of the Western Cape (UWC) and Royal AM in Cape Town at 1pm.

The Capetonians are in third place, breathing down the necks of UJ Ladies and will be watching the proceedings in Soweto with keen interest.
At the Isaac Wolfson Stadium in Gqeberha, City Lads Ladies welcome TUT Matsatsantsa – both teams have been blowing hot and cold. The home team is dancing around the danger zone in 14th position while the visitors are ninth on the table.

Second from bottom Lindelani Ladies are desperate for positive results after a disappointing run of poor results. The newcomers have won just one match in 13, with a draw a nd 11 defeats, and will be hoping for a turn of fortunes when they face a stubborn First Touch Ladies in Polokwane at 3pm. This will be their second meeting after the Limpopo side secured a 4-1 win earlier in the year.
Three fixtures will be played on Sunday (16 June).

After 14 games, Thunderbirds Ladies are yet to win a fixture, with only one draw to their name, and 13 losses. They make the long trek to Tshwane to face the University of Pretoria. With the second round upon us, the bottom of the table Eastern Cape side is already a candidate for relegation if their results don’t change.
Newcomers University of Fort Hare will entertain JVW at the Davidson Stadium in Alice at 1pm. The students have done well so far as they sit on position 10 on the table, but will face one of their biggest tests in JVW who are seventh on the table.

In the last match of the week 16, a potentially explosive match will play out at the Oscar Mphetha Stadium in Limpopo when Copperbelt Ladies host Richmond United.
The clash kicks off at 3pm.
