Full Banyana Banyana squad in the house

The Banyana Banyana head coach was smiling from ear to ear seeing the full complement of players – including the overseas-based players – present in camp ahead of their crucial Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCON) qualifier against Algeria.

South Africa welcomes the North Africans at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto on Friday, 18 February 2022, with the reverse fixture scheduled for Algiers five days later (Wednesday, 23 February).

Lebohang Ramalepe (Dinamo Minsk, Belarus); Karabo Dhlamini (Oakland University, USA); Noko Matlou (SD Eibar, Spain); Refiloe Jane (AC Milan, Italy); Nomvula Kgoale (Parquesol CD, Spain); Linda Motlhalo (Djurgarden,Sweden); Kholosa Biyana (Sporting de Gijon, Spain) and Thembi Kgatlana (Atletico Madrid, Spain) have all been called up for the North African assignment.

All the players missed the Zambia clash due to club commitments, while Hildah Magaia (Moron BK, Sweden) was part of the travelling squad to Lusaka.
