Defending champions MAMELODI SUNDOWNS Ladies of South Africa have been drawn in Group B in the second edition of the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League. They have been joined by Bayelsa Queens of Nigeria, Egypt’s Wadi Degla and a UNIFFAC representative.
2021 runners up, ASFAR FC (Morocco), are in Group A alongside Tanzania’s Simba Queens, Zambia’s Green Buffaloes and Liberia’s Determine Girls.
The draw ceremony took place at the Mohammed VI Technical Centre in Rabat on Friday (9 September).
The tournament will be played from 30 October to 13 November 2022 in Morocco.
