The 2022 Hollywoodbets Super League season is in full swing.
All the teams have now tasted action and have an idea of what’s in store for them ahead – and this includes TUT and Durban Ladies who had their first match postponed due to the Kwazulu Natal disaster caused by floods recently.
First to kick off this weekend will be the defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies who will go toe to toe with Durban Ladies. The latter is still trying to find their rhythm after suffering a loss in their opening league fixture.
This clash takes place on Saturday, 7 May 2022 at the King Zwelithini Stadium near Umlazi with a 13h00 kick off.
Later in the day excitement will grip fans in the Eastern Cape and Limpopo with two derbies taking place.
In the Eastern Cape, newcomers City Lads Ladies will be in search of their first points this season when they take on neighbours Thunderbirds Ladies at the Gelvandale Stadium in Qgeberha, while Ma-Indies will lock horns with First Touch FC at the Baroka Soccer Village.
Bloemfontein Celtic Ladies will host the University of Johannesburg Ladies (UJ) at Siwelele Park, JVW have a date with Golden Ladies at the North West University in Mahikeng while in Witbank Coal City Wizards will host Richmond United at the Puma Stadium.
All matches kick off at 15h00 (unless otherwise stated).
Action continues on Sunday, 8 May with two league fixtures set aside.
The double header starts at 11h30 at the University of the Western Cape with newbies Vasco da Gama tackling the Tsunami Queens, followed by a 15h30 clash between hosts UWC and TUT in the battle of the Universities.
